About the Organisation

The CREPS are local Expertise Centres for Sports Development. These local government offices for sport are part of a broader network in France consisting of 17 Expertise Centers, 4 national colleges and one national institute for sports and performance (INSEP). The CREPS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Vallon Pont d’Arc, is recognised as the European centre for nature sports and has over 50 years of experience in outdoor sport education and development for nature sports in France. CREPS purposes are to: (1) Train sports education and animation professionals (2) Coordinate expertise relating to the development of various sports (3) Support athletes and high-level structures in the dual project of the athlete (4) Host sports courses
